You were there at the perfect moment to capture those ants on the flowers. However, the camera doesn't always capture images the way the eye sees them.

In my opinion, more contrast and perhaps more saturation in the greens and browns were needed to make the ants stand out, as there are shots where they're almost lost when you look at them.
