Friday Market Experience: Shopping for Essentials Amidst the Hustle
Hello dear friends,
I hope you all are doing well and spending a beautiful life with your loved ones. I wish you all happiness and peace.
Six days of the week feel like an endless race—office work, family responsibilities, and countless other tasks make it nearly impossible to find time for myself. In the midst of such busyness, Friday is like a breath of fresh air for me. So, I decided to make the most of today and do some essential shopping.
From the afternoon, I had already made up my mind to go out after Asr prayer. But going to the market is never an easy task, especially on a Friday. During the day, the crowd is comparatively less, but in the evening, it feels like a flood of people. Everyone comes rushing to fulfill their weekly needs, and I was no exception.
The first thing I bought was a mosquito bat. During the monsoon, mosquito problems increase, so this bat is essential for me. Next, I picked up diapers for Nusaiba, Kudumo shampoo, powder, soap, and milk—things you simply can’t skip when taking care of a little one. After that, I bought some household essentials like bath soap, Surf Excel for laundry, and some fresh fruits. Walking through the shops, I didn’t realize how quickly time passed.
One thing that caught my attention today was the huge crowd. Because it was Friday, the market was packed with people. Thousands of shoppers gathered to buy their daily necessities. The buzzing atmosphere of the market, the shopkeepers calling out to customers, the bargaining—all created a lively scene. The shelves were filled with colorful products; some shops were stocked with kitchenware, while others were decorated with flowers and decorative items. It felt like a miniature world where needs and desires came together.
I realized how much time these few hours of shopping had taken. I left in the late afternoon and didn’t get back home until 10 PM. But still, I felt like I made good use of the day. There’s a certain satisfaction in completing all your necessary shopping at once.
Finally, I must say that this Friday’s shopping experience wasn’t just about buying things—it was a kind of refreshment for me. After a hectic week, spending some time in a different environment, walking through the crowd, feeling the thrill of bargaining—all these things made the day special. However, I have to admit, managing the crowd isn’t easy, especially when time is running out. Still, these small moments in life are what color our happiness.
As long as we live, needs will always be there. And to fulfill those needs, we have to keep fighting. No one on this earth has ever escaped this struggle. It’s an inevitable part of human life, something we all must face—there’s no way to avoid it.
Thanks all
