Street perception. Part 2

in CCS10 days ago

The wave of the spotted street has disappeared somewhere...everything has become somehow simple and aesthetically pleasing. This has been going on for years. Where am I who tinker with spots, lines, colors? I would to return to this world!

I think I've taken enough pictures of beauty, it's time to touch on the metaphysics of space again!

I remember hitting a physical limit: the year with its scenery and the focal length of the lens.

Now I have a teleconverter, but my experiments have shown that no matter how much you increase the focal length, the physics of the city does not allow you to increase the spotting.

It may even be not only in the city, but also in the lens.

Anything further than 600 mm no longer leads to the compression of the common space, but begins to manifest itself private in the general.

I'll explain. The closer I zoom in, the bigger the objects become and the details begin to fade, revealing one single close-up.

There is some kind of boundary from 400 to 600 mm, where you can assemble a lot of parts in an urban environment.

If you zoom in further, the details become smaller...there becomes nothing to compress into a single pattern.

And it turns out that it's not about the urban environment. Yes, a bigger city will give you more spots!

But I have tried in Moscow and St. Petersburg to do such things with spots...It's all about physics.

That's the conclusion of this investigation: I ran into the limit not of the city, not of the physics of the lens, but of the plot!

And here it is necessary to understand, have I exhausted all the plots with spots, or am I standing still and cannot pass this level in order to see wider?

I'm still leaning towards the second option, that is, I would to change my perception somehow and something new will open up.

The abstract chaos in the spotting smoothly and gradually developed into aesthetic pictures.

A year ago, I already noticed this for myself while writing one of the posts, and clarified that the spotting was reduced to a minimum for a better perception of the picture.

And who needs this perception? Well, now I have a lot of frames in the archive that are more or less watchable and applicable for publications.

And what about for myrself, inner world, aggression and greed, and courage and "lawlessness"? It's all piling up...

I urgently need to throw it out into pictures, into images with spots, textures from reality!

Don't you like the incomprehensible and complicated? Well, I'm sorry, sometimes I would to show my inner world....first of all to myself, and then how it goes.
