I feel excited to attend our quarterly thanksgiving celebration although now it is not as exciting as it used to be because the beloved late head minister passed-away due to health issues particularly during the CoViD times although he didn't got sick from it but from heart attack. I was quite a shock for me and I never cried so much in my life for a person which is not my relative, but because he impacted my life for the best, my loss about his passing is big,

For one reason this late minister had established a dialysis clinic inside the church compound and it was the reason why I survived for quite a number of years being a dialysis patient because during that time I have no means of supporting myself and the only one financially bearing the yolk was my bother whom fortunately have the same faith as mine because we are both member of MCGI.org sect and is the reason why his support for me is more than ever, he even postponed his marriage because of his support for me.

When I was just a new patient in our church's dialysis center/clinic, they were collecting payments from us but half of what we would pay if we would get treated outside. It was like that for about a year or two until the church finally waived the charge for the cost of treatment. However the use of the dialyzers got extended until they fail to function and that would take for about two months or so of re-use, even the blood lines are re-used as well as the 30 mL syringe that the use to push the blood of the patient and these things are done just maybe to save some money.

It is because all had been free of charge but the service went bad for quality because we are told to buy our own alcohol, iodine, scissors, the surgical gloves, tape, blood thinner or Heparin (anticoagulant), and all which are needed for us to get hooked at every dialysis session. I don't know why they did it but I guess it is the thing we have to endure for getting free dialysis.

The dialysis session would start at around 10:00 AM after the sessions went free, so I end-up going home sometimes very late at night. It is one disadvantage of having a free dialysis because you have to endure these kinds of things. But of course I needed dialysis so it just got to the number of things that I have to endure to help me survive.

Al the times that I was a patient there I often feel that we are a burden to the church, we are actually a burden in that regard because we use church money or resources which is why maybe the service got discontinued after some years of operation. But I was already a few years out from the church dialysis center before it stopped its operation because I was put outside to be treated in my current dialysis clinic but my bills are being paid by the church. My nephrologist will just go to the administration building to collect her professional fees.

Thankfully I was able to use my government health insurance along with my own money that I earned from my online ventures which I had gotten lucky of joining because it had paved a way for me to discover cryptos which I am deeply exposed right now. All had been so well for me particularly when my government health insurance had improved its services especially for us dialysis patients here in my country because we are no longer charged with copay plus we get to enjoy frequent dialysis sessions with free bloodwork and medicines particularly to help us raise our red blood cells and hemoglobin levels although I don't need the use of I.V. iron and the EPO injections for the reason that my hemoglobin levels remains to be high enough to stop or pause its use.

Anyway, my membership in our church literally saved my life because of their former free dialysis service. I don't know if they will offer it in the church's hospital which is still being built right now but since every dialysis center are now free of charge, it will still be better for them to put that service because there are many people who needs it particularly those that are near to such facilities so that they will not have to travel far.
