The first car that can drive backwards

Souce

For decades, Formula 1 fans have wondered: Could a car go upside down using only aerodynamic force? The answer was always theoretical until now, because a super-fast electric car by the name of McMurtry Spéirling decided to stop playing with physics and just did it.

That is the first car in the world to prove that it can stick to the roof with pure force generated by its own system, while traditional cars have spoilers and design to generate Down force from speed, the Mcmurtry Spéirling Pure VP1 throws that concept out the window it uses two electric fans rotating at 23,000 rpm that suck the air under the car creating a monstrous negative pressure, more than 2,000 kg of force to stick the car to the ground or roof in this case.

That means that the Pure VP1 has total grip even when stopped and at high speed it must practically become a vacuum cleaner of particles from another universe, to prove that it is not a pure story, Mcmurtry placed the car and a rotating system and turned it upside down with the pilot inside, no tricks, no secret tie-downs, no hidden rails, maybe some kind of magnet, pure speculation here.

The fact is that the car stopped, was suspended in the air and even advanced a few centimeters upside down, combining ultra-light weight of less than 1200 kg electric all-wheel drive and a design worthy of science fiction like Gotham city cars, the Pure VP1 also goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.40 seconds and reaches 160 km/h in less than 3 seconds, not even Batman would take off that fast.

Driver Thomas Yates revealed that the sensation is “well, dizzying”, but the car controlled by computerized systems and on-demand traction logic maintains stability even in extreme conditions, it is almost as if the physics itself has been tamed by McMurtry engineering and yes the sound of the fans is so loud that it possibly shakes any track.

And No, it's not the car you're going to drive to the supermarket but the impact is real Mcmurtry Spéirling already broke records in Top Gear Hockeyheim Laguna Seca than Stockholm and made Formula 1 cars look ridiculous all this with an electric platform that redefines what we consider possible for the next generation of hyper sports cars and while Formula 1 is still wondering if it is possible to ride on the roof, the Pure VP1 is already up there saying hello and goodbye.
