Problems in the lunar probes.

What is the problem with the Intuitive Machine ship, we understand that it can land softly, that they have already achieved, what they should correct and I'm not saying it, more people say it, is the design, on the left you have the Intuitive Machine ship which is high, very high, look at the legs and the height it has with respect to the width of its legs, on the right you have the Blue Ghost ship, which landed very well and left us with spectacular views.

As you can see, it is much flatter, its anchorage is wider, its center of gravity is also lower, while the intuitive machines ship is very tall and seems to land well in the images of both this lying module and the previous one, the ship was whole, it was not twisted or broken, it was whole, it lands well but perhaps a small bounce when landing or any movement ends up causing the ship to topple over and that is the problem that this specific ship has.

We also have another example, this is the eagle ship of the Apollo missions. Note that it is also very wide, short, this design is good because on the moon the gravity is much lower than on Earth, six times less and this causes any tall object to end up lying down or that is, any object that has a high center of gravity tends to lie down, a slight bounce or a stumble ends up unbalancing the landing, in fact the astronauts had quite a few problems walking normally because their center of gravity for the moon's gravity was quite high, in fact they managed to move better by jumping like a kangaroo, not by walking as we normally walk on land.

Another ship may have many problems in this sense with this type of high design, with a point of gravity, a center of gravity that is too high, since our beloved Elon Kusk's cannot land on the moon, they will have to change the design, there was a model from years ago, I don't know why they no longer publish it, why they continue with this one. It looks more like a manned dragon ship with landing legs than a starship, that is, it would be a much flatter ship, much shorter and with much wider legs.

I suppose that in the end they will end up doing something like this, something with much wider and shorter legs because if they are not going to have problems, in any case, they will have to do a mission first to find out if they can land and even if they change the objective and leave the moon behind and they prefer, they prefer to go to Mars or they prefer to go to Mars, which is what Elon Musk wants and from what he has seen, Donald Trump is also for the job and Elon Musk also plans to send a mission, with an empty StarShip ship to land to see if he can land successfully on Mars, so we'll see what happens.
