It was the end of December in the morning and I heard the picking sound by the bird. I was having my breakfast. The bird typically created a loud sound, probably calling its partner. After finishing my breakfast very quickly, I rushed to the back door. Removing the curtain I saw the woodpecker was making a hole on a big tree stem. It was very colourful. It is interesting to know the woodpecker can several pecks on the in miniute without any headache. They sometimes dig hole to drink juice from the tree. Unfortunately the tree was a dead tree but it camouflage like a living tree with few green leaves yet to be dried. So the birds purpose was in vain. I observed the struggle of the bird and listened to the sounds of pecking.

It is also interesting that birds are Bio indicators. They inspire art, mark seasons, provide a sense of place, and serve as symbols of joy and love.

In India Dove is a symbol of Peace and harmony.

I immediately brought my mobile. I don't go out I focused the lens through the whole of the grill gate. It was about five meters way from me. I focused the bird at 3X of focal length. Unfortunately the area was dark. I had no option other than taking the photo in the insufficient light. It was very exciting to capture a natural colour bird in my camera in our premises. I also film it.
