RE: Art Explained By A Writer: The Feverish One

I believe that a “mother” has implicit in that name that she is the one in charge of the welfare and stability of her household, por saecula saeculorum. This includes the whole package of: father, children and grandparents. A whole novel is the life of a "mother."
Without the right to get sick because she loses. She must cure herself, she must work at home even if she cannot, she must give herself strength because no one else will look after her.

Except in very special cases where both children and spouses really value a mother.
