Concurso fotográfico T2 - E60 "Entre tomates"

in Venezolanos Steem3 days ago

Yesterday evening I had a reason to remember how our whole family ordered several pizzas and bought three three-liter jars of tomato juice which is an integral part of pizza for us, and such a reason was Concurso fotográfico T2 - E60 "Entre tomates" organized by the respected @evagavilan in which I decided to take part.

The topic of tomatoes is very broad but sometimes it is not easy to approach writing a post about them because outside the growing season in the garden you can only rely on the opportunity to photograph fresh tomatoes in the supermarket which is difficult because tears when you see the price of these tomatoes will not allow you to focus on the camera's video finder and photographing a bottle of ketchup which may not contain natural tomatoes at all is self-deception lol.

I have not been gardening for more than six years and therefore I cannot share photos from my beds.

A difficult task if you want the post to be interesting and informative but I remembered that once, on the edge of an abandoned park that turned into a dense forest namely on October 6, 2018, I found what can be called the phrase "Tomato Paradise" and the photographs I took then will illustrate my thoughts that if we think that we know everything about growing tomatoes then we know nothing about it and these photographs confirm this.

De facto and de jure Paradise is a unique, perfect biotope, where there is no need to make efforts to grow any crops there are ideal conditions for humans animals and plants and God took care of all this!

And if you manage to see something even close to Paradise it is worth telling about.

So, in a clearing at the very edge of the forest, near the barbecue area which was densely overgrown with tall grass I saw two tomato bushes that as if by magic appeared there and began to bear fruit.

One tomato bush stood upright and the second was slightly crushed and fell onto the grass.

If you have grown tomatoes in your garden you know how much work needs to be done to get a good tomato harvest in the end and this includes root chemistry and foliar treatment and weed control but here there is none of the above but there is a lot of weed it is everywhere here.

Apparently the people who were having a barbecue here dropped several tomato fruits which gradually sprouted and turned into fruiting tomato bushes it is amazing and it really looks like a tomato paradise.

Very close to these tomato bushes I found two of its wild relatives from the nightshade family and this is Black nightshade.

And Red Pastel and if black is like the color of evil, and red is like the color of good then this is Paradise!
