There are times in people's lives when they need someone to stand by their side for the sole purpose of lifting their spirits.
To lift the spirits of another person, we do not need to make great efforts, it just takes a word, a smile or a handshake to encourage someone who is going through a test.

It can also keep you company during a particularly difficult time, and help you not lose hope.

It is a real pleasure for people when they have the ability to encourage others to see good results, as well as for those who are encouraged it gives them a pleasant feeling to know that others care about them in those difficult moments that they may go through, in who cannot see straight ahead.

The Lord has delegated to each of us special tasks within the body of Christ, and among those tasks we find the gift of exhortation or encouragement, however encouraging others is not the exclusive domain of the people who have received this special gift of the Lord, it is a wonderful role that God has assigned to everyone who belongs to Jesus Christ.

The ministry of encouragement is very necessary, for all people not only for the body of Christ. Because there is not a single person who does not need to be encouraged. Paul counsels encourage one another, and edify one another.
