THE JOY OF A GLORIOUS ENDING.

The year is ending today with all manner of assertion from the lips of men. There are some proclaiming how awesome the year has been and there are those who feel they simply managed to sail through. Whatever your assertion is today; the truth of the matter is that you made it. You have seen the end of this year, this year did not see your end. It’s all about the faithfulness of God and the glory of His works.

No matter how you look at it, you have every cause to rejoice. It is possible all your desires of God did not come through as you expected; but suffice you to know that God does not work with the time setting activities of men. He makes all things beautiful in His own time. one year is too small a time to contain all the goodness divinely earmarked for your life. God is ever at work; He works in us both to will and to do of His own good pleasure.

You are the one seeing it as a year gone by; but God is not controlled by the calendar of men, neither can His works be subjected to any form of human calibration of days and months. The God Who will neither sleep nor slumber does not reckon with time as we do. He is ever at work. Jesus at one time in His redemptive work on earth proclaimed – “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work” (John 9:4) and in John 5:17, He proclaimed –

“My Father worketh hitherto, and I work”.

Men have times when they can’t work; but God has no time when He doesn’t work. The year is ending today does not in any way mean that God’s work is ending in your life. God is effectively at work in your life and He is moving you from glory to glory.

The path of the just is as a shining light that shineth more unto the perfect day. You can rise in thanksgiving with faith in your heart, proclaiming that the year ending today is paving way for a brighter tomorrow and a more glorious you. No matter how glorious it has been; you can be very sure that with God, it can be more glorious. God is inexhaustible; He can do much more than you can ever think or ask of Him.

He can give you much more of what you have seen of His goodness and mercy. You can rise and believe God that the year ending today is ushering you unto a greater glory; the kind that has never entered into the heart of man to conceive. The joy of a glorious ending is your ascent unto a greater glory with God; because, with Him it can only be better.
