BEING A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST IS NEVER BY ACCIDENT.

Being a disciple is never by accident, it is far from being a chance event. Beware of those who rise from the blues proclaiming themselves as messengers of God, with all manner of mind blowing titles, without any traceable record of a meaningful stand with God. working for God is working with that which you have acquired in your walk with Him. Without a walk with Him, you cannot succeed in working for Him.

God is never in a hurry in getting people to work for Him. He emphasizes on men who will first of all seek to walk with Him before stepping out to work for Him. It first of all rubs on you in your walk with Him, before it becomes contagious on the lives of others, as you step out to work for Him. If nothing of Him has rubbed on you, it is very certain that you will not be able to make enduring impact on the lives of men.

Jesus ordained twelve men, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach. When you step out presumptuously thinking that you have all it takes, without anything drawn from an intimate walk with God; you will drown miserably. You may soar very high; but because you have no root in God, you will fail. You may have fruits all over the place; but, because there is no sustaining flow from the vine, they will not last. Being with Him helps in securing victory in seeking to be busy for Him.

If you truly don’t have ulterior motives in seeking to get busy for God; you will have to subject yourself to being in His secret place before getting out into the open to work for Him.

If it is for God; then, you will have to let it be by Him. Get filled with the sweet fragrance of staying in His presence and the world around you will celebrate the power of His sweet presence oozing out of you. Many don’t want the aspect of staying with Him, they seek the aspect of going forth in His power.

Without Him you can do nothing. If you seek to do something without Him; then, it is certain that your hands can never be clean and your testimony will not last. Elisha was referred to as one who poured water on the hands of Elijah. He acquired so much virtue in the course of His service for God under Elijah and he stood as a proof producer of the mighty power of God. where you are today informs your placement with God tomorrow.
