My Shepherd

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

The Almighty God has been a caring, loving and generous Father to all that believe in Christ.

His love and care is symbolic of a shepherd. This is because comparing Him to a shepherd is the closest comparison. The Lord is more than that.

It's significant here because God loves us so much that He can give anything up to ensure that we are fine in all ramifications.

Are you under the Lordship of Christ? If yes, there shall be no more wants in your life.

Look around and see the goodness of God. He provides for both His own and those without.

This the assurance we have, that no matter how tough life gets, Jesus will always come through for us.

Dear Father, thank you for always being there for us as a great provider. Please help us to be focused on you and never be afraid, in Jesus name. Amen.
