Pride before destruction 1

John 3:1-3

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

When you are spirit filled you be the light in the dark, even the devil and nonbelievers will say it to your face that God is truly with you and that's what happens here, Nicodemus was a rich man, a ruler. He knows that truly Jesus christ is the son of God and that's why he approached him because he can see the light in him.

Jesus already knows what he want, he was full with pride that is why he came at night, he came to meet jesus thinking he could be saved, he did not talk about state affairs but he was selfish and that was why Jesus was so straight with that except a man is born again

John 3:4-8

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Pride comes in different forms and some many people like Nicodemus out there thinking I'm this and I'm that. They know me everywhere, I can't do this and I can't do that. Your pride will only destroy you and nothing good will come from it, expect you give your life christ you can't see the kingdom of God, your money and your power will not follow you to heaven and it only last here on earth.

You must be born again, you must forsake your old life by giving your life to christ, there must change in everything we do, change in our ways and you must change completely from what you were, you must serve God wholeheartedly and never depart from him again. Don't let pride, fears and shame destroy you before it is too late. I pray that God will help in Jesus name. Amen

Proverbs, 16:18

Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. ... Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
