Steemit Crypto Academy, Week 7 – Homework summary – Stable coins part 2(USDC, TUSD, PAX & DGX)

in SteemitCryptoAcademy4 years ago (edited)

What another exciting and busy Crypto education week this has been on the steem Blockchain! The just-concluded 7th Crypto education week has been such a unique one. I am pleased to have reviewed over 300 articles of various steemians all over the world that attended my lecture and participated in my set homework task about Stable coins.

My Crypto students greatly enjoyed learning about stable coins and I strongly believe that through the lecture I delivered to them, in my Stable coins part-2 article coupled with the set homework task, they were able to grow their knowledge in the crypto space particularly about Stable coins.

Before proceeding to write this homework summary, I made sure that I reviewed all the articles of my crypto students. If mistakenly skipped your week-7 homework article and did not review it. Kindly drop a link to it in the comment section of this homework summary and I will surely attend to it as soon as possible.

Here are my favourite picks for the week-7 homework task. These deserve an extra reward for their consistent hard work in producing valuable content in the Steemit Crypto academy.

Please note that: There were very many excellent articles that I even highly rated. I simply picked these ones for purposes of encouraging and motivating some of my Crypto students. Kindly understand that there is no guarantee that I will keep selecting one particular author because of his/her consistent excellent articles.

Note 2: Kindly also note that, I do not expect to receive any more week 7 homework task articles. The deadline for submittion was 28/03/2021, 11:59pm Ugandan local time.

General thoughts

For the previous week, there were just a few cases of plagiarism. I disqualified about 5 articles after having discovered them with plagiarized content. Your Crypto professor is indeed alert always making sure that he scans your articles with the help of a smallseotools plagiarism checker. Thanks to the innovators of such a tool because with it I am able to ensure that my Crypto students learn Crypto ethically away from the bad habits of plagiarism. Many steemians have now learnt how to create good quality content that is free from plagiarism and that is one of the positive implications of this newly initiated steemit crypto academy on the steem blockchain.

Some students performed fairly/average because they created short blogs characterized with shallow/basic information on the highlighted stable coins. Kindly endeavour to do enough research on a particular topic in order for you to have enough information, and build up that confidence in presenting it in your blogs in a detailed and clear format.

Try to be organized in your work. It’s not just a matter of writing. You’ve got to write bearing in mind that there are people who are going to read through your work. Therefore, you need to ensure well-organized work for instance through formatting the content of your article into small easily readable paragraphs. If necessary include some subheadings to help your reader quickly get a clue of what you are talking about let’s say in every paragraph.

Read and ensure that you understand the homework task question. There were 2 cases where some crypto students submitted irrelevant information. This was due to the misunderstanding of the homework task. One wrote about other stable coins that were not highlighted in the homework task. The other one wrote about a list of stable coins even those that were not highlighted in the homework task. That is often termed as miss-firing. Therefore avoid miss-firing on the homework task by ensuring that you read the homework task question careful, understand what is needed then go ahead and provide the answers to it.

Learn to fully reference your work clearly. I realized that some students did not know how to properly reference their work. Every time you choose to borrow a phrase or quotation or words from another source; you have got to attach a reference to it at that exact spot, to clearly show that its someone else’s words that you have just borrowed and used in your content and by doing so no one will penalize you for using that borrowed phrase or quotation of words, seeing that you have given credit to the original author of that borrowed content.

Keep your content focused on the main subject of the homework task. There is no need to repeat what I have already given you in my introductory article. If you must, share a recap about it but do it as briefly as possible. When I am counting the number of words used In your article in answering the homework task, I exclude those introductory words. Therefore you had better keep your content more focused on the main subject of the homework task.

Proofread your work in order to correct any mistakes made during the course of writing/typing your work. Mistakes are common and it’s human to make mistakes. No one is perfect but when it comes to writing, we can always try to rectify any typing errors or grammatical errors in our work by taking time to proofread our work to ensure that it makes sense to the one who reads it.

How to write original content?

While researching, seek to understand what you are researching about. You can read 2 – 3 articles which are talking about a particular thing you want to write about. Simply pick up ideas. Get the key terms of that topic couple them with the few ideas picked from other authors, and then go ahead and build your own article/content in a creative way. That’s the simple way I can share with on you how to create original content. “Creativity is the main key”

Here are a few vital tools and sites that I recommend; you can make a good use of them while answering the homework tasks.

Grammarly
Smallseotools plagiarism checker or Duplichecker
Word count site
Formating your articles : Markdown styling formats

For graphics designing: Canva.com, Powerpoint, Illustrator, Photoshop
