Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary on Homework Task, Week 4- Season 5
Hello steemians how are you? I hope you all are doing well and you all are safe and healthy during this pandemic time.
Here ends week 4 of season 5 for my homework task, it felt so good to check the homework task as a professor and after being a student for 4 seasons. I have got an overwhelming response from the students which I was not expecting because of the 10 demo trades questions. It was my second experience as a teacher and I tried my best to be lenient and understandable, hope you all find it informative and useful.
This week we covered : One of the best strategy from the category indicator strategy that is Puria Method of indicative strategy. Starting from its defination, Working, construction we end our discussion on demo trades. Another thing we discuss in our homework post is the creation of new strategy. Students develop different strategies using patterns and indicator that they can use in there daily life trading.
Basically puria method is used by scalp traders and also by Traders work on intraday short time frame trading.
This week we com up with 5 different questions starting from understanding of puria method we discuss about its trends in the market. After that we we try to analyse another filter. After that students perform 10 different demo trades. Then finally they create there own strategy.
Puria Method strategy is an indicator based indicative and is used by scalping traders and intraday traders. This strategy consists of 3 different indicators 2 weighted moving average and MACD. MACD works as signal filter.
In this strategy the only thing we don't consider is the candles of MACD pattern. We only use the moving line. Move above 0 and below 0 line. Once price move above 0 line we can buy trade if candle is above moving average and vice versa for the selling part.
Using Signal filter other than MACD is a very important question. The reason is the limitation that you have to use only an indicator having 0 level such as ROC, ADX, CCI and so on. RSI, slow stochastic and other oscillator are incorrect as they don't have 0 level.
The only thing that I think many of the author unable to understand is that in demo trades you have to perform buy and sell on single pair. For eg. Buy BTC/USD using Puria Method and then sell BTC/USD using Puria Method, this will create 2 Trades on single pair. And this is how we have to create 10 trades on 5 cryptocurrency pairs. 5*2=10.
Finally Authors create different strategies using different tools and patterns. But many of then simply change the length of MACD and moving average lines which is not be considered as a new pattern.
This is the basic summary of the homework of week 4.
This week, I have visited all the post submitted on my tag #utsav-s5week4 and #cryptoacademy. Once again I request all the participants to check their tag correctly. If anyone use incorrect tag change it, comment your link below, I will try to visit your post.
Observations and suggestions:
In week 4 total 27 entries were made in which we find all type of entries, Outstanding, Excellent, Good, Average and Poor.
Well organised homework post with clear screenshots and perfect trades receive good grading while other losse marks in different areas. Let us address few of them.
Presentation:
I consider presentation as one of the most important part of any homework post. It depend on many factors such as screenshots and there editing, Clarity of content structure and also special guidelines. This time I mention two most important guidelines and consider it as a part of presentation that is to justify text and as your country tag. One who fail to follow these simple guidelines fail to receive marks in presentation.
Proofreading :
As we mention that one have to read his/her homework post before submission. Few users make silly mistakes such as spelling mistake, Markdown style mistakes, unwanted symbols in between text and so on. The only thing that can resolve this is issue is proofreading. Read your complete homework post before submission.
Question Answers:
Many of our authors fails to understand question 4 in which they loose marks. Since many authors done the same mistake so I deducted 0.5 marks in each post. But most of the questions are correct and we'll explained.
Evaluation :
My grading system was based on quality of analysis of each Question, presentation and originality. Out of 27 entries only 1 entry recive 10/10. Number of post recive Vs. Quality Tag of these 27 entires are given below in the form of bar graph.

Greetings professor @utsavsaxena11, firstly I would like to thank you for this amazing lecture, but I don’t understand the fact that I scored 10/10 and didn’t make your top 3.
I need an honest review sir, I didn’t say you did bad with your choice of selection Infact you did great, but I’m really curious to know why I didn’t made your top 3 even after scoring 10/10

You really work hard no doubt, and I like your post, but the reason I didn't consider your post is that I want to provide equal opportunity to every author work here. Every author is equal for me. In my previous lecture post I already considered you I top 3 authors. Every professor in this academy has his own way of working.
If I consider any author in top 3 once then chances of being in top 3 once again in consecutive week is less. But it doesn't mean that in next week you can not be a top 3 authors, you can. Work hard and achieve the goal.
Thankyou!!
I love the fact that everyone is equal to you, thank you so much for explaining.
Now I understand the reason I’ll make sure I don’t relent and work harder on your next class
Once again thank you for the beautiful lecture and for explaining your reason to me.
Enjoy your week day professor and merry Christmas to you 😎😍
All the best....have fun...merry Christmas in advance 🙂❣️
Yeah brother. It does not happen like that. I have got 10/10 two times, but didn't get nominate. Its up to professor. The professor checks the quality of the content.
Keep doing assignments and you may get nomiantion. But it is not guaranteed.
Contento de haber realizado un gran trabajo en su gran clase y felicitaciones también para los otros dos compañeros que lograron un buen desempeño igual. Saludos!
Congratulations..
Woow thanks for recognizing my work as one of the best professor @utsavsaxena11. Indeed it was really worth learning and I say a big congratulations to the other Selected Post for they deserve their positions
I'm new to steemit, could you please tell me how to complete my achievement1
Good day,
Professor @utsavsaxena11, how possible is it that the only entry that got 10/10 didn't make it to your top 3? Is it a mere mistake? because I'm confused here on what people should now aspire for.
@pocoloco01 was among the 3 persons that got 10 in your first class, and the only person to get 10 in your last class yet you wouldn't consider giving him an explanation. For courtesy sake!
@utsavsaxena11
I wonder what he will get in your next class that's if he will even participate.
@pocoloco01 made an excellent entry.
I went through his posts and saw that he also got 10/10 in your head and shoulder class. Apparently he is your best student for now and him not making it to top 3 which I believe was his aim after finishing top of your last class is totally unfair and will kill his morale.
Professor @utsavsaxena11, you should reconsider your top 3.
Thank you so much @srrebullient, I also don’t understand why the professor didn’t select my pos t for the top 3, I know he strongly have his reason for that. I’ll be very glad if he can explain the reason to me then I’ll work harder next time
Reason explained.
