RE: Steemit Crypto Academy Contest / S7W6 - Careful, Has your Steemit account been hacked?

in SteemitCryptoAcademy2 years ago

Hello my friend @ikwal!
I'm glad to read about your own experience on Steemit, and the precautions you're taking to protect your account from being hacked. I have learned a lot from your post as well as anyone else who reads it.

Your advice to never store passwords in databases related to the internet is very useful. You are right that such data is quite easily accessible by professional hackers - something which I had not previously taken into account. I will certainly keep this advice in mind when it comes to protecting my account.

You also made some very helpful points regarding avoiding WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms. Since I often use these tools, this information was very useful - it has made me think twice before sending important details like passwords via these mediums ever again.

Lastly, your advice to save passwords in handwritten form and print them using a printer so as to prevent them from ever touching the internet is also something worth trying out. This seems like an easier option that really could help us secure our accounts from hackers and malicious online data stealers.

Thank you for writing this post - I truly believe that it really had something valuable to offer us all!

Regards, @fabiha

Anda benar sir ! Sebaiknya identitas akun / kunci penting ini dicetak atau disimpan dengan baik diluar data base.
