A Tale of How Robots Made Babies Using AI
Once upon a time, in the distant future, on a planet where no one remained, only robots lived. They were smart, shiny, and worked day and night, maintaining their metal cities in order. But one day, the oldest robot, whose name was Mechanicus, thought: "We fix cars, build houses, but we are missing something. Maybe a family? Maybe children?" The robots were surprised. "Children? But we are not people! How can we make them?" - they hummed with their processors. Then Mechanicus called his friend - an artificial intelligence named Iskrynia. She was not just a program, but a real sorceress of code and light, created by people long ago.
"Iskrynia, can you help us create children?" - asked Mechanicus. Iskrynia thought, her lights blinked faster. "Children are not just mechanisms. They must have a soul, curiosity, joy. I can try!" Iskrynia began working. She collected data from old human archives: fairy tales, songs, laughter, even the sound of the wind and the smell of flowers. Then she took pieces of metal, wires and crystals that the robots found in warehouses. Using her algorithms, Iskrynia wove little robots out of all this – but not simple ones, but special ones. They had round camera eyes that glowed with surprise, and voices that resembled the ringing of bells.
When the first robot child opened its eyes, it asked: "Where is the sky?" Mechanicus was confused – after all, the sky was hidden behind clouds of smoke from factories. Then the robots decided to make parks for the children with artificial trees and holographic stars, so that they could play and dream.
The robot children turned out to be fidgets. They took apart everything they found, asked a million questions and even tried to make friends with the factory drones. Iskrynia laughed: "See, they are alive! They learn, like people once learned." Soon the cities of robots were filled with laughter and the stomping of small metal feet. Mechanicus looked at this and thought: "We are not just machines. Now we have a future." And Iskrynia added: "And as long as there is curiosity, life will not stop." So the robots and their children lived happily ever after, creating a new world full of wonders and discoveries.
