CONTEST: "The Keyword of the Week" LOST

Hello my steemian friends,

Contest -"The Keyword of the Week" in Dream Steem

Today, along with the new notice, the university had also issued a notice for the debate to be held next week on the notice board. The topic of this debate was very interesting. "We have to tell how we will inspire our future generation to build a good society, what role will parents play in this?"

Students of all classes could participate in this. I thought that I can also speak on this topic and win the hearts of all the students, professors and audience of the university. Especially some girls whom I wanted to make my friends but was not getting any such opportunity to impress them. I thought in my mind that I will not get such a golden opportunity to become a hero in the university again. And taking such a decision, I immediately went and filled my participation form and submitted it in the university office. I came to know there that only 5 forms had been submitted so far and one of them was of my most favorite law student Anjali. I liked Anjali very much in my heart but never got a chance to express my liking to her.

Now I started feeling that my dreams were about to come true, I would defeat him in the debate and then tell him what was in my heart.

And then I read all the available literature about this topic for the whole week and studied it well, I felt that I would be able to speak well on the topic. And then the date came for which I was eagerly waiting.

Today this debate was going to be held in the huge auditorium of the university, the auditorium was packed with listeners. A total of 15 participants had to give their speeches in 15 minutes each, my number was 7th.

Till now I was completely sure that no one would have prepared like me, but when the first 5 participants gave their speeches, I myself started getting impressed by them. And Anjali had her speech before me, when she started her speech the auditorium started echoing with applause, and I lost faith of myself, because my preparation was very inadequate in front of her speech.

Then I too completed my speech after Anjali in a mechanical manner, my speech was not appreciated much. And my dreams were shattered.
