You are right but I don't have any comparison. I haven't tasted a sourdough one 🤕. Hence my adventure 😎
Doing a sourdough bread is in general, also a complex, tedious business, that swallows a lot of your time - but very grateful in return
That was the aim really! To be grateful for the experience, for the taste (claimed by all bakers of sourdough bread) but I failed terribly.
So, if you can afford it, then the answer is: yes.
Not before I taste an actual sourdough bread... And also have a reference for starter.
