THE PIRATE FIREBEARD AND HIS CURSE ON THE HIGH SEAS/PART VII

in Dream Steemyesterday

Previously...

The past between Reelé and Firebeard was known. She, a beautiful woman with an obsession with the pirate, one in which she wanted to control him completely, make him her slave, and that he could commit unforgivable acts, but that these would not be subject to questioning.

Finding himself back on the ship, the captain wondered, as did one of his faithful privateers who also felt that the real reason they were still at sea was because of a curse that had been placed on Firebeard.

PART VII

-You shall never leave the high seas, Firebeard! You will never set foot on land again, but neither will you be able to sail, your ship will remain docked," the voice of the specter caused the crewmen to shiver.

The captain expected to find himself face to face with Reelé. Firebeard, blinded by his anger, had given the order to his corsairs to stay in attack position, but not to let themselves be carried away by fear, lest they end up attacking each other.

They began to hear babbling but they did not know where it was coming from, generating in them an uncomfortable feeling...they were not advancing and that was already torturing even for their thoughts.

-How dare you step on my ship, did Reelé send you? It seems it wasn't enough to destroy her place, Marrath," spoke the captain.

-I should have gone back to where she was and ended her life once and for all! A damned witch!" Firebeard continued to direct his words with arrogance towards his privateer.

Marrath began to look puzzled, he watched the captain and shook his head in denial, as if something was speaking to him in a whisper and he simply did not agree.

-Marrath! The rats bit your tongue that you don't speak," Fearbeard continued in his annoying voice, unsettling the crewmen.

-My ship isn't moving in any direction, and that damn rotting flesh smell is disgusting. I'd hate to have those rashes on my skin again," Firebeard was annoyed that Marrath was not reacting as he required.

The sun appeared with intensity, burning the faces of the corsairs and their captain, the thirsty ones looked for water inside the ship, but they had none. They threw a bottle attached to a rope into the sea to get the vital liquid.

Desperately they drank from the bottle, the crystalline color changed to black, disgusted by its taste they spat immediately, they felt strong chest and headaches.

The specter had told them what would happen in the following days, but the only thing it did not warn them about was the way they would spend their lives inside the ship, with unexpected climates, with surprising marine animals.

The purpose was to torment them, but to what extent? No one knew...

The hatred that existed towards all of them was superior to all the forces of freedom.

Running away and leaving Reelé alive brought with it a series of consequences to the pirate Firebeard, but besides, he was not willing to bend and remain the slave of that woman.

—¿Cómo te atreves a pisar mi barco?
