When there was no destination, the journey changed me"
This article talks about that one small moment – which was small for me, but will probably leave something for you too.

Everything felt like a burden that day - the body was tired, and the mind… it was as if lost in some thick smoke.
The restlessness of the office, the silence of the home, and the questions to myself – all had created a noise inside.
Suddenly I decided – I have to go somewhere far away. Where? I don't know. Why? Just… maybe somewhere where there is peace.
Sitting near the window in the train, fields and mountains kept passing in front of my eyes – but my mind remained stuck at the place where there was restlessness.
The journey was going on… but it seemed as if something was stagnant inside.
An elderly woman was sitting in front of me – probably around seventy years old. Her face was full of wrinkles, but there was a calmness in her eyes, which comes not just from age, but from experience. She was quietly looking out of the window – as if she was returning to the paths of the past years, remembering each turn.
Her bangles were white, and there were no words in them – yet as if there was an unsaid song going on in every movement.
The train stopped at a station, and suddenly the power went off. Darkness and restlessness spread in the compartment. The children got nervous, the fans stopped, and I started sweating.
Then the woman said – in a very calm tone, without any fear or hurry –
"Son, destinations are important, but don't forget to live the journey…"
I was not surprised – I stopped. As if someone had gently stopped the noise inside me. Perhaps her whole life was in that smile – and that one sentence became the most valuable thing of my entire journey.
His words slowly started sinking inside me. For a moment, it felt as if someone had suddenly applied the brakes on my fast paced life.
I started asking myself –
"Did I get so lost in just moving ahead that I forgot to look at the path?"
We all probably do the same – goals, deadlines, work, stress… everything in a race. But did we ever stop and see what all was there on the way that we did not even realize?
Maybe the real life was in the journey, the destination was just an excuse.
That day, for the first time, I truly understood that life is not a race, but a journey.
Destinations will change again and again, but if the journey is not lived, every destination will remain a little empty.
That old lady… who came into my life for just a few minutes –
She changed my way of thinking before leaving.
I may never know her name, but that one thing she said…
has settled inside me forever.
Now whenever I go on a journey,
whether it is a dusty road in a strange city
or a new turn in the tangled paths of life, this time I have made a promise to myself
This time I don't just want to reach - I want to live every moment.
The greenery of every tree, the smile on every face, every silence - I want to feel all of this completely.
Sometimes the greatest things are not in books
They are hidden in a simple word spoken by a stranger.
Now the journey is not just a way to reach the destination
It has become an opportunity to meet oneself.
