RESULTS: Let's Write Classifieds- Week 3

Greetings friends, the third week of our short fiction challenge attracted few participants. I must admit I may have overcomplicated the rules, but I'll take that as a learning experience.
This week, the challenge invited us to "condense"—that is, in short fiction terms, to extract the essence of the characters, the story, and the way the plot is presented.
Of the three entries, all did well, respecting the word limit established for the contest.

My impressions and highlights for each author: |

📝 @dove11:I appreciate the author's use of the almost literal format of classified ads. Although, considering short fiction, it's good to ask whether numbers and addresses contribute to the story or are unnecessary. At least in the first one, the word Aquarius and 49 seem to go very well together; we imagine a personality. I would love to write with such a respectful tone of voice; it lends its message a sense of truth. However, upon reading the translation of the second ad, I feel you lacked a certain "malice." Although the message is a clear invitation to any man that, if he accepts, he will receive free rides in exchange for other favors. Both stories are very good. --- |
📝 @venecineaudio: The condensed version's achievement is evident. The first, the boy's, sounds very modest but direct; he knows how to ask. In the second, the woman's voice is somewhat blurred, emphasizing the children, although, of course, the story needs them. However, I see in the endings, words and numbers that contribute little to the story. --- |
📝 @enrisanti. A style that intrigues me. The ironic humor she imbues her stories makes them unique. She describes people we might encounter crossing the street. And her endings fit in such a way that they make us think, so strange and witty they are. I think you could still refine your style; I see words that could be eliminated and wouldn't be necessary. But I'm grateful to have you among the authors. --- |
Thank you all for rewarding us with your great display of creativity.
