Good evening, Dear Dreamers!

The last "Keyword of the Week" was apparently as uninspiring as it was unimaginative... I would like to thank the two participants in this sad round-up from the bottom of my heart for the rays of hope you have created!

NEW ZEALAND was once a place of longing for me; I wanted to visit the filming locations of various TV series that captivated me with their breathtaking landscape shots. ‘Hercules’ and 'Xena - The Warrior Princess' were filmed in the largely unspoilt nature of New Zealand, 'The Last Samurai' and later 'The Lord of the Rings'... The directors and producers already knew why they fell in love with this country...

has also written a kind of film script in which I even get to play a small role ;-)) Fortunately, I'm forming a team with @moecki - yes, I think that could work ;-)) Our very own steem New Zealander, @kiwiscanfly, has also been ‘casted'. It's going to be a blockbuster, I'm sure!

And now...? Is the "Keyword of the Week" slowly becoming obsolete? We're approaching our two-year anniversary and our regular competition series has been running since the first week. Is it time for a change...? Your thoughts on this are welcome.

Guten Abend, liebe Träumer!

Das letzte “Schlüsselwort der Woche“ war anscheinend so uninspirierend wie fantasielos… Ich danke den beiden Teilnehmern dieser traurigen Runde von Herzen für die Lichtblicke, die Ihr erzeugt habt!

NEUSEELAND war für mich einmal ein Sehnsuchtsort; ich wollte die Drehorte verschiedener TV-Serien besuchen, die durch ihre atemberaubenden Landschaftsaufnahmen bestachen. „Herkules“ und „Xena – Die Kriegerprinzessin“ wurden in der weitgehend unberührten Natur Neuseelands gedreht, „The Last Samurai“ und später dann „Der Her der Ringe“… Die Regisseure und Produzenten wußten schon, warum sie sich in dieses Land verliebten…

hat dann auch eine Art Drehbuch geschrieben, in dem ich sogar eine kleine Rolle spielen darf ;-)) Erfreulicherweise bilde ich ein Team mit @moecki – ja, ich denke, das könnte funktionieren ;-)) Auch unser steem-eigener Neuseeländer, @kiwiscanfly, wurde „gecastet“. Es wird ein Blockbuster, ich bin sicher!

Und nun…? Hat das “Schlüsselwort der Woche“ etwa langsam ausgedient? Wir steuern auf unser zweijähriges Jubiläum zu und seit der ersten Woche läuft unsere regelmäßige Wettbewerbsreihe. Ist es Zeit für eine Veränderung…? Eure Gedanken dazu sind willkommen.

Vorerst möchte ich dieses Projekt jedoch noch nicht zu Grabe tragen; in den nächsten Tagen dreht sich alles um
