Charades is a fun guessing game that we can play with kids. In this game, the player acts on words or phrases written on paper using only body movements, without speaking. In the mean time, other players need to guess what it is.

Explain in your own words how to play.

To play this game, we need to write different words on small papers. Next, fold the papers and put in a bowl. Then, divide players into two teams. Another player needs to select one paper from the bowl and act according to the word on the paper, using only body movements. The other teams need to guess the word within the given time. If the team guesses correctly, they get a point. If that team can't guess, the other team gets the chance. They can continue this game until the set number of rounds are completed. The team that gets the most points wins the game.

How did you feel playing, was it fun?

I played it with my neighbors’ kids. It was a really funny game. We laughed when they acted on certain words. Some actions were very difficult to guess. But most of the actions were guessed by the kids easily. Kids were very happy and not given me a chance to stop that game. Kids were very wise; when they started to act, they knew the words. We were laughing when they used their faces and hands to show the words. As everyone had a chance, all are very excited. When I stopped the game, they urged me to come again tomorrow to play that game. It is a great game to play with family, kids, and friends.

Which mime was the easiest for the child to imitate and which was the most difficult?

Actually, our kids imitate most of the ones very easily. Rabbit was the easiest one for the child to imitate. Even the train was also very easy for them to imitate. But it was difficult to imitate Helicopter because they didn't know how to show the spinning blade. Therefore, Helicopter was the most difficult one for them to imitate.
