SLC S23W5/ Puppet Theater

Hello friends, it feels good to join this week's challenge, my daughter and I had a lot of fun doing this.

With a child between 4 and 12 years old, create a puppet theatre using materials of your choice. Consider the child's age to determine whether or not they can cut. The most important thing is their safety; if necessary, you can do the cutting while they participate in the decoration. Remember to indicate the materials you'll use, the step-by-step process and the final result. Include photographic evidence. Also, include both the children and you performing the puppet show and showing the final result.

How the puppet theatre was created

My daughter is not able to use the scissors yet, so I helped with the cutting, we didn't mark any area open, we just used the scissors to open the side of the cardboard box that was glued. The two sides was opened.

We then started the work and placed the red and white fabrics on the cardboard box and tied it together to fit and we started to decorate the box

We decorated the teddy bear with the hair band and also placed the beads on the edge of the cardboard box.

and then we have the puppet theatre.

What was the experience like when creating this play?

This was really a happy and engaging one, it brought so much joy to my daughter in a way I could not explain, looking at her face, you already can see how happy and interested she was in the whole process.

What do you think was the most difficult step to take?

We didn't face any difficulty making it, it was quite easy, the materials were already on the ground and everything just went smoothly. Just my daughter was really happy and we had to do some part over and over again because she won't stay in a place.

Were you inspired by a specific theme or did you just let your imagination run wild when decorating the puppet theatre?

No specific theme, we just used our imagination, the puppet performance was about a queen and her bear. So we just came up with it and used our imagination to bring it to life.

What was the child's favourite part during this activity?

My daughter's favourite part was the performance, she enjoyed the whole process but was more excited to enter the puppet theatre and performing in there. Have always wanted a DIY session with her but this week's challenge allowed us to do that and I am grateful for it.

I would like to invite @mophebe, @charis20 and @blessedbee to participate in this challenge
