Yes... you raise many good points. It Would make an excellent story for a new Stop Motion movie. Like Episode 1 1/2 .... fill in the gaps. Maybe I will make one.

I think even the tv series The Clone Wars is not at all about Anakin's formative years. In it, as far as I recall, he's grown man who fights alongside Obi-Wan.
