Lovely lovely visit here this week, getting in was simple enough even though the neighbouring farmer and some contractors arrived after me and set about lopping and shredding the undergrowth ( I wondered what the orange paint marks were on the saplings. Now I know),

I think they had quite a shock when I emerged out of the front door, and disappeared through the hedge never to be seen again!

Plenty of wonderful treasure from 1919 tax forms to 2019 Sainsbury’s sponge puddings!

Expiry 2015 on those puddings, it has been empty for possibly 5 years. Some memories in there... my mum used to buy Women's Weekly for 4.5p!

Yeah the puds confused me, the decay looks like it was left a lot earlier, the upstairs floor is rotted away in most places, had to just use the joists!
Thinking maybe tramps or squatters

That looks really interesting, do you ever use metal detectors while exploring?

I've been living in England for the last two years and while walking the dog in the woods, we've found a lot of old or ancient structures. They're completely overgrown and forgotten and I keep hoping that we'll find some treasure.
