The Diary Game [21/02/2025]: "A Day In My Life At The Farm

Greetings everyone, its been many years since I did not create any post in here due to a very busy situations. I need to fucos on my Studies and now, I finally Graduated as Grade 12 Senior High School. For the first time of being back here in steemit platform, allow me to share our Farm areas here in Manticao. This is also part of my obligations in life here at the Province, to checked and explored the entire place here at the Farm. I've been here living at the Province for almost 30 years, and I am very happy to lived in this place helping my Parents to plant lots of valuable crops and vegetables.

My Father planted lots of coconut plants and approximately there are almost 500 coconut trees here in our Farm. Only few of it are not still produced coconut fruits and this is one of our Primary source of income. Every two months, we do harvesting and luckily we can gathered and sell almost 8,000 coconuts. The dry coconut palm are being used as a firewood on which we can cooked food and boiled water. The leaves are decomposed and used it as an organic fertilizers and the sticks are also used as broomsticks so we can be abled to clean the yard.

This big oven made of welded recycled drums are used to charcoaled lots of coconut shells we can found here at the Farm. Each oven can packed eight Sacks of charcoals which can be sell at the Supermarket every sunday. We decided to placed this big oven at the middle of the vast coconut plants field so we can easily gathered the coconut shells and charcoaled it for almost a day. It can keep the place very clean and aside of that a good kind of sideline business.

We also owned Fishpond and pig pen but unfortunately due to a valid reason, we temporarily stopped taking care and raising farm animals like Pigs and commercial telapia fish. It is so sad for us but those we temporarily only. We planned to clean the yard near at the Pond and also in the pen and started to raised lots of farm animals. It will be a great challenge and busy day ahead if we will started to so General cleaning and restoring the Place.

Water pump is very important to us here at the Farm. This is the place where we fetch clean water used for washing the fruits and vegetables , drinking water and cleaning kitchen utensils. It is quitely far from our home and it needs to walk meters away before reaching the place. This water pump was built many years already and we really handled it with care so it wont destroyed.

Even if our place is very far from urban place, still it reaches Powerlines. This will for us here so we can charge our Cellphone, watching TV and using other kinds of Appliances and Gadgets. We really dreamed to have Power lines here and now our dreams are turned into reality. This power line connected on some electrical posts at the Mountain and Nearby places here in Manticao.

We also decided to plant lots of fruit plants just like Cacao and Papaya. Here in our Farm we already planted 50 Papayas and 20 Cacao young plants and all of it are came from Far places. I was very happy to see the time when I kept myself exploring to the Farm, this papaya fruits and I am very excited to harvest at the right time. The only thing I will do while waiting the time to harvest is to built tree guard so animals like Cows and Goats cannot be damage the Papaya plants.
