Bireuen Regency Presents UIN-SU Professor to Commemorate Israk Mikraj.

The Bireuen Regency Government, Aceh, held a commemoration of the Israk Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad 1446 Hijriah, presenting a speaker, Prof. Dr. Achyar Zein, M.Ag, Postgraduate Professor of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) Medan, Thursday (30/1/2025) morning, at the Sultan Jeumpa Grand Mosque in Bireuen.

The activity was opened by the Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, S.H., M.M. It was attended by elements of the Forkopimda, Acting Regional Secretary, Assistants, heads of departments, agencies, offices, hundreds of employees, students, students and other invited guests.

Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, S.H., M.M in his speech when opening the event said, welcoming Ustadz Prof. Dr. Achyar Zein, M.Ag, as today's speaker, also to the participants of the dhikr for accepting our invitation, and thank you to the organizing committee, hopefully this meeting will be approved and blessed by Allah SWT.

It was explained that Isra' and Mi'raj is not just a story of the physical journey of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, but more than that, it is a spiritual journey full of lessons about closeness to Allah. About the importance of prayer as a pillar of religion, about His greatness that goes beyond the limits of human understanding.

"Through this event, Allah showed the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all of us, that nothing is impossible for Him, and that every test of life is part of a spiritual journey that must be undertaken with patience and trust," he said.

So let us make this Isra' and Mi'raj commemoration a momentum to renew our spirit in practicing religious teachings, strengthening Islamic brotherhood, and improving the quality of our worship.

Hopefully by commemorating this event, we can further deepen the meaning and wisdom contained, making it a guideline in our daily lives.
