Application For The Community Curators - February 2025
1. Our Vision, A Plan and the Results
Team True Colours achieved a lot in December 2024 and January 2025. Our Team focused on artistic and creative content and made good comments visible. The forgotten hidden gems of Europe are made visible. Next to that, the team shows the versatility of Steemit.
The team adapts its upvote behaviour to the daily results of the data entered and also provides a large part of all upvotes with personal comments to stimulate commenting and interaction. Actively our team searched for forgotten Steemians who have something to offer. Tips/help is given where necessary.
Our team works to execute its vision based on the same passion shared by the Steemit Team, which is to reward worthy comments including personal blogs. During December and January (still running), the Team has curated 1,470 times so far, with a composition of 380 posts (25.85%) and 1,090 comments (74.15%). And of the 1,470 curations, posts and comments sent through personal blogs ranked the highest with 181 items (12.31%). The following chart and table visualize the data of the curation done in the 2 months and the top 20 most-voted communities out of 93 curated communities, along with the curation data based on continents.
In January (ongoing), the team also classified the data by gender, resulting in the data shown in the following chart.
January passed by fast and we like to continue our journey to make more Steemians comment and connect while showing the diversity and richness of Steemit.
As it is now possible as read in the recruitment article, this time True Colours applies with two members: @aneukpineung78 and @wakeupkitty. We had the experience of working together in a curation team in December 2024, which proved our flexibility, persistence and ability to work under pressure and be willing to do extra work. We make a strong duo and know what to do and how to search for what is worth being rewarded. A 2-person team means less distraction, explaining and the goals we set can be easier achieved and it saves us a lot of stress caused by a third person.

Но, пожалуйста прочитайте внимательно правила, которые изложены в посте steemitblog, по-моему там основное требование 3 члена команды, а у вас только 2, поэтому вашу заявку могут отклонить.
Пока есть еще время, найдите срочно еще одного человека в команду, тогда больше шансов для выигрыша.

Спасибо за поддержку. Мы решили, что быть с двумя - лучший выбор, даже если нас не изберут. Команда Steemit сказала, что может быть до 3 членов. Значит, максимум 3. Что ж, мы избраны и начнем участвовать в sc05 через 2 дня. Давайте будем стремиться к видимости творческого контента, комментариев, прежде всего, искусства и Европы. But, then, you are sorry for expressing your opinion (conclusion). Isn't this a bit confusing compared to the previous paragraph where you mentioned you were inspired not to be afraid to do so? Not everyone has to agree with our opinions and the conclusion we make, right? Mistakes can be made and corrected, that's why the word ‘confirmation’ is in the dictionary, and communication is the facilitator.

I just wanna have fun on steemit, and do what makes me happy.. such as making content, share my moment, give support to other steemians and also increase my writings skill
I take most of the things seriously, even when I joke. It doesn't mean taking things seriously have to be out of fun. And it also doesn't mean to have fun is to not being serious. Well, then again, it's me.
So I guess, the thing is we have a slightly different idea on how to "have fun" on Steemit, especially when it comes to commenting.

To Wrap It Up, Shortly
The Steemit Team has this vision and mission to increase engagement, we have seen various innovations born from it, one of the most popular, perhaps, being the Steemit Engagement Challenge (now Steemit Learning Challenge) and the creation of 7 steemcurator accounts following sc01 and sc02.
Next the Steemit Team wanted the comments section to be enlivened, and awards offered to deserving comments. Then there was @wakeupkitty who was eager to implement the Steemit Team's vision by applying to be part of the Community Curators (CC), inviting me as part of her team in December, which was the beginning of our collaboration.
When Kitty outlined the vision and mission, I thought, "This is what the Steemit Team wants", (I've often read CC recruitment posts), then several other questions followed, lead to something like, "If we're about to do this, how are we going to do this?" And the answer made me say to myself, "This is the team mate I want!"
@fjjrg, thanks for commenting. I'm happy to know that you're satisfied with what Team True Colours has done so far. We will continue to make corrections and improvements where necessary, as long as we are trusted to do the curatorial works. But more important than us curators, are the bloggers and commenters, who take the time to give the best of themselves to the community (Steem). For them are the Community Curators there.
