RE: Dua Berita Gembira: SSEA-MINER dan MINER We-Write

Greetings friend @aneukpineung78

I think it's good that you've kept your learning challenge proposal as a free topic.

In my experience I can say that there are many tutorials and guides that "show" us how to publish, comment, among other things, I say "show" because they only tell us where to do it, but very little do we see "how to do it", or what would be the best ways to do it. Maybe it's controversial, but it wouldn't be bad to present a guide on "how to develop or present a post or comment effectively", taking into consideration several aspects to try to make the guide reach more users with different themes, or styles.

In my beginnings I used to write micro stories, they were times when I had a mental gap to develop content (I didn't know what to publish), then I found posts that were developed from an image, this helped me release my creativity a bit to develop stories, but I felt alone in the sense of knowing if I was doing it well or not. I was looking at the most voted posts, but many were voted by a privileged system, and they did not have an attractive format, I did not get a different reference for the development and presentation of my posts.

Textual content is important in a post, but so is visual content, images are essential to complement a post, I commonly took them from the internet, but then I noticed that my own images could add value to what I published, and even, they could be a support to start an idea, so, in my mind I had achieved a vision to give personality to my blog.

So, the idea was to improve, look for something interesting to share and get good quality photos.

Although it seems like a scheme, I rather think it is a development strategy that we can use in Steemit, just as we should consider aspects for our posts, we should also do so for our comments, and even for all the activity we generate on the platform.

I have always wondered if other users have a strategy or a route to develop their posts. From what point do you start? From an improvised idea, experience, image?

I'm glad you shared your past experiences that shaped you today on Steem. I see that you are evaluating each chapter of your journey and heading into a new one with a solid strategy. I'm not surprised you arrived where you are today. This is of course inseparable from your main vision in running activities on Steem: You want improvement.

The problem with some people is that they don't have the same vision. They come to write light posts, then leave to come back tomorrow to do another post. Some even don't have time to reply any comment under their own post. They exist. Or maybe they simply don't really have that much time.

I think people who value their own posts (putting maximum effort into preparing them), when they realise the importance of engagement, will also put maximum effort into engaging in the comment bar.

In terms of doing ‘how to’, what we're doing right now in the MINER We-Write programme is more about inviting people to participate, and with that we aim to generate comments and chats, so that each of us learn by doing, and find our own character, and this has to do with the topic of the first session which is niche. But maybe @wakeupkitty will be interested in this and maybe we will come out with some new formula in this activity. We can surely improve this initiative. As we agree that improvement is necessary.

... just as we should consider aspects for our posts, we should also do so for our comments, and even for all the activity we generate on the platform.

Couldn't agree more.

I have always wondered if other users have a strategy or a route to develop their posts. From what point do you start? From an improvised idea, experience, image?

A very good question. I believe it is creativity to the rescue. With enough creativity and imagination, I think people can find ideas from anywhere. In this first session, MINER We-Write invites participants to find ideas for commentary by answering questions on your #talkchannel and writing short pieces based on prompts provided in the Freewriters community, maybe in the session to come we will do it with images and another thing.

I think that everyone should have the need to improve, otherwise they will never succeed. It would be a mistake to believe that I am the best and that my publications are perfect, and that there is no need to change, since I would become a finished product, that does not advance, that does not adapt to the current situation, and that does not revolutionize their ideas.

I think it is excellent that they promote user interaction, this can help them find their own self as a "content creator", the exchange of ideas and points of view, can open new ways of seeing things, or complement those that we implement.

Yes, it is necessary to be creative. Imagine having the power to transform everything I see in my surroundings into content. Maybe a spider on the window, and think of a title like "The art of war, attacking and protecting yourself", or if we see a plate of food on the table, and start a post about "Mom's seasoning".
