{Pedantic} How To Meme
- It's pronounced "meme" which rhymes with "steem."
- A meme is not just a random picture with a caption. At best, that's merely a joke. Memes and jokes do not necessarily overlap.
- The pedigree of the template is important to consider. Meaning, what the meme has been used to express before should be incorporated into your creation, unless you have a good reason to change it.

This is not to say that it cannot be re-contextualized and used another way, but doing so should be done with care.

This actually may have been the FIRST real meme in modern times simply because it was during a time when people were actually traveling around the world en mass for w2 and there was a lot of commotion, i remember seeing this in a bathroom in the london museum in 2006, so yeah its crazy how the same social stuff online now was visible with newspapers and diffusive paper information blah blah blah blah

You need to classify what you said as TEXT based memes maybe, or dunno, cuz what ur talklin about, is a specific type of meme, not all memes even have text
many memes are VIDEOS now, thats where a high bandwidth of memetic content actually lives now, its on youtube in "dank meme" compilation videos
But yeah you have some good Text based Meme Guidelines

That's true. And also, the second "Incorrect Usage" comic by itself is now more funny than the "Correct Usage" one. That just shows how meaning can change over time.
