How am I still on Steem?

         As promised, I am going to write a post in @snook's challenge. It's one of those rare times I make more than one post in a day. My story is likely not as exciting as some of the others, but here it is anyhow.

How did I get here?

         I signed up to Steem after revisiting @someguy123's pitch for it in the Litecoin Discord. For a long time, I didn't want to bother with Steem because I quit social media around middle of 2016. At the time, the only way people could have contacted me was through Discord or phone.

         A lot of things happened in my life from 2016-17. At which point, I decided that I needed an outlet to write down things. Since I was bad at keeping records, I figured it wouldn't have been a bad idea to give Steem a try. I told myself it would be a productive hobby as I could get some compensation over time.

         Of course, the handle @leonis was already taken, so I had to make do with another alias. There is a history behind my current handle, but that's not in the scope of this post.

Why am I still here?

         Let's sum it up with one picture:

         I came for the kicks and giggles and will most likely see it prospers or die. Anything else is a bonus.

         I became involved with anti-abuse initiatives because @anthonyadavisii found me. He picked me off of the figurative street. We won't go into details about how I became active in @steemflagrewards. The truth is not as exciting as some conspiracy theorists led themselves to believe. From there, I met other cool people like @themarkymark, @pjau, @guiltyparties, etc.

         Yeah, it would take me a while to list a bunch of people.

         Besides, the greater world would never be able to appreciate the inside jokes here on Steem. The lifestyle here is a meme in itself.
