"Meah Shearim" means "100 Gates" in Hebrew. It was the first neighborhood built outside of the Old City's Walls
Today was a warm day. A perfect day to visit "Meah She'arim;" Jerusalem's first neighborhood outside of the Old City walls. When you visit this neighborhood, keep in mind that the people who live here are generally very devout and are either against or ambivalent about the government here.
