Having moved to Tokyo, he enjoyed the trust of the German Ambassador to Japan.Its main achievements are considered to be transmitted to the center of information about the date of the German attack on the USSR and the fact that Japan in 1941 against the Soviet Union will not speak.However,the first of these messages did not believe,but the second made it possible to transfer from the Far East 26 divisions that decided the outcome of the Moscow battle.
At the age of 46, Sorge was arrested by the Japanese police, and three years later, executed by hanging.
