The origin of Korean Palace deoksugung

The origin of the deoksugung was the resting place of Prince wolsan villa which was built in 1450 by the name of Seobyeolgung. in the 16th century war for 7 years resulted in the King's Palace and the seat of Joseon Dynasty korea was destroyed, then the Royal family temporarily lived diSeobyeolgung until the completed rebuilt changdeokgung. The King of korea, long live at Seobyeolgung and its name was changed into Gyeong-un-gung.

In the 19th century Americans, France, Russia and the United Kingdom visited seoul to meet King keGyeongun and the next few months as the main Palace Gyeongungung announced and himself as emperor.

the capital of Joseon is the interference of foreign countries, then the joseon renovations for two years (1902-1904), in 1904 a fire occur resulting in several buildings burned down and rebuilt until the year 1906.

in January 1907 the King is forced down and raised his son (Sunjong) became emperor. At the moment it Gyeongungung renamed deoksugung.
