The 10 Best Hip Hop Diss Tracks Of All Time!!!
With the recent release of Pusha T's The Story of Adidon diss record aimed at everybody's favourite white rapper Drake I've been revisiting some of the classics. Everybody was losing their shit when Drake and Meek went at it a couple of years ago and Drake released his Back to Back shit, and I couldn't help but feel like it just wasn't as good as everybody was claiming, especially given what we have to measure it against.
I actually think The Story of Adidon will stand the test of time unlike Back to Back but here's what I believe to be the ten best diss tracks of all time! I should also mention that as a big Eminem fan (not lately) I'm going to do a seperate list for all of his diss tracks, I couldn't pick a favourite there's so many great ones! Anyway, that's why none of his diss records are in this list. So, without further ado here's the best (or 'my' best) diss tracks of all time, enjoy!
50 Cent - Back Down (Ja Rule Diss)
Nas - Ether (Jay-Z Diss)
Jay Z - The Takeover (Nas Diss)
Royce Da 5'9' - Malcolm X (D12 Diss)
The Game - Red Bandana (50 Cent Diss)
Ice Cube - No Vaseline (NWA Diss)
Ja Rule - Loose Change (50 Cent, Eminem & Busta Rhymes Diss)
Dr. Dre - Fuck wit Dre Day (Feat. Snoop Dogg) (Eazy E Diss)
Eazy E - "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" (Feat. B.G. Knocc Out and Dresta) (Dr. Dre, Deathrow Diss)
2Pac - Hit 'Em Up (Biggie Smalls, Puff Daddy Diss)
What are some of your favourite Hip Hop diss tracks and where would you rate The Story of Adidon among them? Honestly impact wise I'd rate it highly, he pretty much destroyed him but it's still early days yet and Drake hasn't released a response yet, if he does it might change things but it's hard to deny what Pusha T did to him on that track! What are your thoughts? Leave a comment and let me know.
Some of my favourite diss track was Eminem to his mom, like how could you, who does that Lol, the Nas and jayz diss track(the take over and Either ) I'm female so nicki and remy diss was funny to me Yeah and finally 50cent and jarule,(back down) like they are still throwing subs at each other on twitter and Instagram. This one is called "get the strap" Lol.
The things with the adidon diss is, pusha revealed a whole lot of things about drake that the world didn't know about and I guess that hit drake squarely.
We didn't know about the black face and even if drake has apologized, some blacks are still not feeling drake because you know how black people take on issues like this.
And the Baby mother! Wooh! Drake has a child? A child? And we had no idea? That one was huge like it shook me up right there for a little bit.
Baby mother was a porn star? Like yo pusha where did you get all this from?
Funny thing is, it's all true.
So you see drake is 'I think' trying so hard to get back at pusha and he needs to have receipts!
He needs secrets that'll tear the internet down and he needs to go back to back on this one how he did for meek mill.
Till when drake replies, then we can certify if this beef track is as good as it started. But I think when Drake responds to pusha then you all are going to be having the best diss track of all time!
And yes, Drake should start with how disrespectful pushaT was for using whitney houston's bathroom photo as his album cover.
I think Drake was feeling himself too much after the beef with Meek, he thought he couldn't be touched and Pusha T fucking molested him Lol, I'm not really a Drake fan, I just don't like him as a person and I don't believe what he says, I'm with DMX on Drake so it was nice to see a more rapper's rapper in Pusha get the best of him. I am, however, interested in hearing a reply from Drake if he does reply, we shall see! I'm with you on the Remy diss as well, that Shether shit was cold Lol.
