A nobel deserved.

Even though I think they misapplied the criteria for awarding Nobel prize. I'm very glad that Hopfield and Hinton have won one of the most prestigious surprises. Their work is extremely important.

I'm also especially glad that Hinton is receiving notoriety and money because of his new importance in the field of AI safety and his courageous stand resigning from his job in order to call out the dangers of our current rush to superhuman alien intelligence.
