The diary game. From the Early Morning Chirps to the Evening Chill: A Day of Routine, Work, and Family Commitments

Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.

As a part of my habit, I got up very early in the day. To my help came the birds living in the vicinity, which started chirping on the open windows and the balcony of my house, making me very uncomfortable in bed. I was quick to kick myself out of the comfort of my bed and straightaway purified myself for the morning prayers. I went to offer the morning prayers in the nearby mosque, and it is actually an obligation for all Muslims. We have to start our day with morning prayers, and that too along with the community, with other people of the society. It took me around one hour there in the mosque. After making supplications, I returned home.

Because of the rainfall that occurred through the night, I couldn’t do any gardening work early in the day, and I also couldn’t go for a walk because the temperature had gone down a bit, and it was quite uncomfortable to be outside for long. I did some exercise inside the premises of my house, and after I was satisfied with the amount of sweat I broke and the calories I had burnt, I had my breakfast.

After finishing my breakfast, I had to get ready for office, and I did so, leaving for my office at around 9:30 AM. It takes me half an hour to reach my new office through a shortcut route, which I found to be quite economical, as it not only saves me time but also fuel. It was quite dark in the morning as the weather was overcast with a lot of fog all around. While I was on my way to the office, the weather started getting clear and the clouds began rolling away.

Upon reaching my office, I had to wait for my colleague to arrive, as he was a little late, and without him, I couldn’t do anything because he had to dictate the revenue records that needed to be digitalised. I have been assigned only the digitisation work; reading these revenue records is quite difficult and cannot be done by anyone other than the revenue officials. We started our work at around 10:45 AM and continued until the afternoon. Meanwhile, I had my lunch, which I usually take with me, as otherwise I would have to survive on food available in the market. Due to recent surveys and market inspections, this food turned out to be unhealthy, and that’s the day I started taking my lunch with me.

The day was quite sunny. As the day progressed, the temperature also rose. In the afternoon, I returned home. Back at home, we were packing apples for export, and for that reason, I had been asked by my parents to return home a little early. I was quick, but while on my way, I couldn’t take the shortcut route back home because I had to buy some tapes for packing the apple boxes from a nearby town. For that reason, I was a little late getting back home, as I was stuck in a traffic jam for some time.

Upon reaching my place, I took a cup of tea and then straightaway joined the people packing apples, spending part of my day helping them pack. As the evening progressed, the temperature started dipping, and it was quite cold. Upon finishing my day’s work, I went inside, took a nap, and later in the day, I had to buy some groceries and other items from the market. For that reason, I visited the market, where I met my friends and spent some time with them.

Later in the day, at around 9:30 PM, I had my dinner. After going through social media for a while, I went to sleep at around 11:30 PM and called it a day.
