Santa Margarita River Trail-After the Rain #SOCAL
A couple of days in the house this week had us yearning to be out in Nature for a bit. After all the wonderful rain we have been receiving we ventured out to see how the Santa Margarita River was fairing. Even though it has rained recently San Diego County has received less than 1/2 of normal percipitaion.
Back Entrance is the quickest to some of the deeper parts of the river. I say deep but thigh high is the highest we have ever seen it. Back Entrance is Located off North Stage Coach Lane. There's an Area to Leave a few cars by the mailboxes
Looking all deshevled and Stoned lol
Things are looking Green :)
So we believe this is the Horse entrance side as there was no clear path across. Last time we just jumped the rocks this time we Fjorded lol
Nice Flow to the water today but nothing crazy
All Worth it
Hopefully more epic ones to come :)
Be blessed and Grow On !
Love to see any new #SOCALSTEEMIT members at the next meetup/hike/sportsevent/burningsession
That foam in the water though. Wash your feets!
It's amazing how fast things get green here after a rain. Like an African savannah. I think I'd be more inclined to keep my shoes on going thru the stream. Apparently wool socks work best - and in SoCal, they do tend to dry out. And... it's good to print the green pictures and put them on the wall to remind you during the summer when everything turns to steam and heat! Sorry, got carried away. Great pictures. :-))
