T4 High Speed Steel Heat Treatment
1.Quenching
First, T4 high speed steel is preheated, usually at a temperature of 800-870°C, and then heated to the critical quenching temperature, at a temperature of 1220-1250°C (quenching furnace), 1270-1290°C (salt bath furnace) or 1280-1300°C (box furnace), and finally oil cooling.

2.Tempering
Tempering is performed immediately after quenching. Usually T4 steel is heated slowly and evenly to the tempering temperature of 540-580°C. It is recommended to perform secondary tempering, holding the temperature for not less than 2 hours each time, and finally air cooling.
