It's about frickin time too.
Most people are too stupid to drive. Over ninety percent of all traffic crashes are caused by human error. (the site says 'accident'. Stupidity isn't accidental)

Or perhaps most people are too smart to drive. Perhaps they get bored too easily due to the fact that they drive cars with automatic transmissions, that have interior climate control , independent suspensions and are full of distracting toys such as sound systems, radios, telephones and even television.

Over thirty thousand people die on the highways every year just in the United States. Nation wide more than One and a quarter million die. That's three times as many deaths on the highways as all of the murders and war.
