Hero Notes: Summer School

One of the things that's been majorly affecting our life lately is what our identity means to me. A lot of stuff happened this summer. We were kicked out of a home, introduced to rainbow, turned all over Portland looking for homeless recovery options, getting arrested, and helping a close friend stand on their own to build a sanctuary for themselves before finally finding another home. On the whole, we feel like our friends let us down. This summer has been a far worse struggle trying to cope with it on our own.

About the only one we feel like we had any control over was standing by our friend and helping them.

What this comes down to, is that we don't really know who we are anymore. we’re trying on a lot of different things around attitudes and behaviors. More and more we’re feeling like no one really cares who we are anymore.

We still don't know who or what we’re going to be, but after everything, we hope we get to be around the people who wanna do what we wanna do as a general rule. Positive people are a positive influence, and we need to rebuild.

Who’s with us?
