Adenium is a beautiful desert flower. Its "desert rose" name is fitting. It is a tree-like succulent. It belongs to the Kutrov family of plants. Adenium originally comes from Africa, including the island of Socotra. The plant also grows on the Arabian Peninsula.
Over 50 kinds of adenium exist in nature. Some can grow to 30 feet tall. However, this only happens in their natural habitats. Only one type, Adenium obesum, typically grows indoors.
Many people think humans created this plant. Yet, it naturally exists in the wild. Its unique shape and vibrant flowers often surprise people.
