How did this get 10 votes in 3 minutes with only 2 views

I just saw a new story that already had 10 votes after only 3 minutes. I noticed that it had only been viewed twice at that point though. How can that happen?

    Bots I suspect. It happened with a comment I left the other day. Seconds after posting I had 8 votes all at once.
