Love Lost or Gone?

Pain is in different levels, it is felt in different ways. Some sting, burn, pinch. But this one, it feels heavy, like a weight, an uneven weight placed on a very fragile surface.

It squeezes so tight, it's hard to take a breath in and breathing out is done with a loud "hmmm" it throbs and feels like it had a life force of its own.

There is no physical tear or crack, only a mental and emotional scar is left. Memories begging to hurt in a way you don't expect.

Have you made an error allowing me to love you? Have you found out that my love was too much for you? Did it also lay heavy on you when I gave it to you?

I want forever with you but not this moment with you. I can't handle this much love you have given me so freely, so I'll take it and sour it up then toss it back at you haphazardly.

It's throbbing so hard, i can't... breath right. It hurts cause I can't let go. I won't question your worthiness of this love but i would like to heal from this pain.
