What do you think about the 80/20 diet? Would you follow it? Explain your answer.
The 80/20 diet is an act of eating in moderation but still enjoying your normal meals and not been deprive of those less healthy meals we sometimes carve for. Yes, I will follow the 80/20 diet because, in this diet, you can still enjoy your unhealthy meals, such as desserts and snacks, which come in the 20% just to quench your cravings. I still enjoy 80% of the diet, which is healthy food, which includes vegetables, recommended fats, recommended protein, and recommended carbohydrates, which are rich in essential minerals, vitamins, and nutrients that are good and nourishing to the body.
It's a good diet pattern that will make me not feel worried about what to eat when I am out of my comfort zone. It also helps in control of intake of unhealthy meals when taken in smaller portions.
Have you ever tried any of the diets mentioned in this class? How was your experience?
I have tried the Keto (ketogenic) diet which helps in weight loss, reducing unrecommended fat. It increases the amount of calories, keto diet
improves heart health and reduces the risk of cancer.
During the time I was practising the keto diet, my most experiences were that within a few weeks, I started shaping my clothes my movement changed from dul to fast and my intake (food)was monitored well,

Drinking water is a habit I practice a lot, knowing the healthy impact; I don't joke about drinking water even when I am busy with my daily activities. I make sure I have water around me and sip as I work. I also advise people around to drink water well.

Sleeping is another habit I practice. It is my means of resting; whenever I am tired, I sleep to rest my muscles so that I can re-energize.
Using the formula shared in this class, calculate the amount of water you should consume in a day. Are you consuming that amount daily?
My body weight is 70kg according to what was taught in class
Amount of water (in litres)= Body weight(in kg) × 0.033.
Amount of water = 70kg × 0.033
=2.31liters
That is to say; I have to take 2.31 litres of water daily. Which I sometimes exceed before now.

My fat is soyabean oil and bread substitute is Tapioca while my recommended protein is chicken.
STEP BY STEP
I first cooked my African yam bean with seasonals like Salt, Maggi, pepper and onions; I kept it aside.
I started cooking my tapioca by drying my pot on a cooking gas, I poured the soyabean oil.

Then, after some seconds, I added my salt, onions, and seasonal cube and stirred and put my tapioca and poured a little water that can help it to cook and allowed it for 5 minutes, then turned it homogenously until it got ready to eat.
