My Favourite Drink in Summer
Our mojito
We can say that today is the first day of this year that can be called a hot day because the thermometer scale in the sun has crossed the mark of 40 degrees Celsius and in such weather it is good to think about drinks that will refresh us and help us overcome the heat and take part in Contest Alert || My Favourite Drink in Summer organized by @abdullahw2 and I will designate this drink as - Our mojito.
I must admit on hot days I like to drink cool fizzy drinks and I won't refuse cola fanta sprite or other lesser-known fizzy drinks that I've noticed disappear from sale soon after I decide I like it lol.
It was like that in Moldova when I bought a great locally produced fizzy drink called "Mojito" and after I drank it all either the factory ran out of ingredients and it disappeared from sale.
But no problem when you don't have your favorite fizzy drink you can make your own mojito.
Of course I don't have a carbon dioxide generator or a carbon dioxide cylinder to make fizzy drinks no, it will be a tea-like drink that can be drunk both hot and cold.
Mint and something citrusy are welcome in this drink but you can add anything to it dry herbs bought at the pharmacy or collected by hand such as sage and thyme or you can add a little fruit tea.
For some the cup its shape and size matter and for others it doesn't matter what to drink mojito from but I get used to a specific cup and try to drink only from it lol.
So, let's throw mint leaves on the bottom of the cup and drink over what can decorate this mojito.
The citrus season is over or hasn't started yet but after winter we have some tangerine zest left and we will add it to our mojito.
I like to drink this with sugar and I rub the mint leaves well so that they release juice, but this will look less beautiful visually, so we will do without it.
Pour boiling water over it all and wait for it to steep in a cup.
The time it takes to steep the drink depends only on the degree of our patience and desire to drink.
After some time sipping the aromatic drink I understand that life is good and life is good and we are not afraid of the heat!
I invite my friends @eii @ranartblog @xaviduran to take part.
