Very well told! But what a nerve racking and painful experience for you to go through. You had quite a long recovery period from that episode!

I had a scare a few years back too with a lump which turned out to be benign, but I'll never forget the wire they just stuck into my boob to locate it before going under. I sat there for ages with this wire protruding from me!

Thanks, Diane and yes, long recovery is right!

Glad to hear your scare was only that. My mother had a similar wire-sticking-out-of-her-boob experience with a lump about two weeks before I discovered my discharge (in the same boob as my mother). In her case, it was malignant but it was (I think this is what the doc said) encapsulated and they got the whole thing. My eldest girl and I were there with her for the whole thing (other than the actual surgery - LOL), so I can appreciate how much fun it wasn't for you!

Thanks again for shouting out, and I'm sending you wishes for a lump-free future!

You too! It isn't something ever to ignore, so I thank you for bringing it to the fore!

What an amazing and brave woman you are. Dealing with this terrifying topic with the grace and humor you have had is more than inspiring. Thank you for sharing this story. I wish you great health going forward my dear. God bless you.

Thank you in return for your kind words, @davidallenjones! I greatly appreciate your well wishes - bright blessings to you.

I had a scare with my heart, and the succeeding angeogram was not pleasant at all. I couldn't believe what a sook I was when they explained what they were going to do, then said no knock-out. Aaah! Humour always helps, whate'er the sit'. 😃 I hope all's well.
May the blessings be.
Keep on keeping on. 😇

Yikes, @simon62! My mother had that procedure, so I can appreciate the loveliness (NOT!) of it. I hope things have been okay with your heart since then. Bright blessings to you, kind sir!

Who can worry, it works at the moment. If it stops, I will hardly know, ai¿ 😇

Good point. 😊

hahaha this is great

you can't imagine how much i'm happy for you :)

:) mention not :)

Its good to know that you are doing fine now.

Laughter is indeed great medicine! So glad the finale to this story of yours ends well! I have known so many women get diagnosed with breast cancer these last few years. One of my clients just had a double mastectomy and is about to go in for her reconstruction. I'm very thankful she is doing well, as are the other ladies I know. Thank you for sharing your account!

You're very welcome, @plantstoplanks and I have to say I'm pretty glad too! I forgot to mention it again (I did in my first post of this series) but two weeks before this happened, my mother had breast cancer surgery (lumpectomy) and we discovered a high risk for cancer on both my mother's and father's side (gotta love genetics). I'm happy to hear your client is doing well, and I'll be sending healing thoughts her way. And thanks so much for shouting out!

aside from everything I would like to congrats you for you win over this breast cancer, you are really a brave woman and I also love your concept of showing the pics of flowers instead of boobs.
May God Bless You always .
Celebrate the Victory dear :)

Aww, thanks so much for your awesomely kind words, @abdulmanan! Bright blessings to you in return! 😊

:) where you from? I would love to meet you someday :)
and there is a question for you , how can I add smilies in replies like you adding :) I don't know about them.

I'm from the Seacoast area of New Hampshire, @abdulmanan. If you're ever in this area, be sure to shout out - my husband, kids, and myself would love to say hello! 😊

There might be an easier way to do the emojis, but what I've been doing is copy/pasting them from this site -

Wow, @traciyork, this was a very moving, thought-provoking and also hilarious read. I had a constant impression that I'm right there with you, feeling those emotions, thinking those thoughts, worrying... I'm very thankful that you share your story- not only may it help someone in need by spreading info and awareness, it can also be consoling. To me, it's very optimistic and important that the problem was different than cancer. I'm so happy for you and I admire how strong you are. I wish you lots and lots of health! And I also must compliment you on your excellent writing style, together with great taste in gifs ;) All the best, Klaudia

Klaudia, thank you so much for your amazing comment! I read it aloud to my husband and said, "See? All of that health drama had a silver lining!" I can't repeat what he said in reply - LOL 😉

Seriously, this was awesome. Bright blessings to you, and...

Yeah, I understand :) I'm very sorry it happened to you, and I wish it wouldn't! How you reacted and reached to others with this story is really great. Thank you for making good out of bad. Love, Klaudia
